Die PSI 2012 ist die wichtigste Konferenz zur Plasma-Material-Wechselwirkung beim Bau von ITER und zukünftigen Fusionskraftwerken. Als Höhepunkte werden erstmals Ergebnisse der "ITER-like Wall" an JET, dem derzeit größten Fusionsexperiment weltweit, vorgestellt und Fragestellungen für den übernächsten Schritt der Fusionsforschung, das erste Kernfusionskraftwerk DEMO, diskutiert.

Press Invitation: Fusion Scientists Meet in Aachen – First Results of the ITER-like Wall in JET

The PSI 2012 is the most important conference on plasma surface interactions for the construction of ITER and future fusion power plants. The highlights will include the first presentation of the results of the ITER-like wall at JET, which is currently the world's largest fusion experiment, and a discussion of issues concerning the future step in fusion research, the first fusion power plant DEMO.
