Scientific Conference of the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Nachhaltige Chemie" of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker e.V. (German Chemical Society).
Catalysis is the key technology for sustainable chemical processes and at the scientific core of Green Chemistry. The research for synthetic pathways and processes utilizing novel feedstocks, creating less waste, or enabling new selectivities is a major challenge and great opportunity for modern chemistry. The working group "Nachhaltige Chemie - Sustainable Chemistry" of GDCh, in collaboration with the Center of Catalysis Research and the Institute for Technical and Macromolecular Chemistry at RWTH Aachen, invite scientists on all levels from academia and industry to participate in the scientific symposium "Dream Reactions - Synthesis and Processes for Sustainable Chemistry" to discuss current trends and future developments in this field.

The scientific programme of the meeting consists of invited lectures that cover selected focus areas with no parallel sessions. The poster session and party forms an integral discussion platform.

You are welcome to submit posters until March 12, 2008!

The symposium is coupled to a tutorial workshop for students, PhD candidates and Postdocs, which starts immediately after the lecture programme and provides further insight and background knowledge about catalysis and Green Chemistry.
