Am 24. September wurde das FORUM von Ministerialrätin Liane Horst, Leiterin des BMBF-Referats Neue Werkstoffe, Nanotechnologie; KIT, eröffnet. Es folgte eine kurze Vorstellung der Förderinitiative MatRessource durch Dr.-Ing. Karen Otten als Vertreterin des Projektträgers Jülich, sowie ein Grußwort des Fachbegleitkreises MatRessource, vertreten durch Dr.-Ing. Tanja Eckardt, Heraeus Holding GmbH. Eingeladene Gäste aus der Industrie und Wissenschaft stellten in Übersichtsvorträgen unterschiedliche Aspekte der Ressourceneffizienzbewertung vor.
