Musik als Teil Sozialer Arbeit
Der Vechtaer Professor für Musikpädagogik, Schwerpunkt Historische Musikwissenschaft, Dr. Theo Hartogh, verbringt derzeit einen Gastaufenthalt am litauischen State College in Siauliai. Hartogh hatte sich erfolgreich im Wettbewerb „Support for scientists, lecturers from foreign countries education and study institutions“ des litauischen Bildungs- und Forschungsministeriums beworben. Zwei Wochen verbringt er nun in Siauliai und stellt dort Studierenden seine Seminarreihe „Music in Social Work“ vor.
Neben Vorlesungen und Seminaren am State College wird Hartogh auch soziale Einrichtungen der Region Siauliai besuchen. Dort und in Workshops mit Hochschullehrern diskutiert er die Einsatzmöglichkeiten ästhetischer Medien in der Sozialen Arbeit und musiziert mit bestehenden Ensembles, u.a. dem Orchester der Behinderteneinrichtung Goda, das in Litauen und Polen konzertiert.
