Vom 19. März bis 19. April 2013 ist die "9. Internationale Barnack Biennale" in der Ernst-Abbe-Fachhochschule Jena zu Gast. Die Bilder sind in der dritten Etage von Haus 5 zu sehen.
Der renommierte Fotowettbewerb findet zur Erinnerung an Oskar Barnack (1879 - 1936), Erfinder der weltweit ersten serienmäßig hergestellten Kleinbildkamera "Leica", statt. Schirmherrin ist die Brandenburger Ministerin für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur, Prof. Dr. Dr. Sabine Kunst.
